Michelle Rose Fort, 54 of Warren, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington, Indiana.
Michelle was born on January 18, 1969, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Mitchell Zeck and Jackie (Biggins) Creamer. She married Joseph Fort in Huntington County Indiana in 2004. Michelle worked as a CNA at Heritage Pointe in Warren, Indiana for almost 30 years and then worked at Lowe’s in Bluffton, Indiana. She was born a country girl and her time spent living in Jersey gave her a feisty boldness. She was never afraid to speak up or speak out. Michelle had so much love for her friends, family, and her animals.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents.
Loving survivors include her husband of almost 20 years, Joseph Fort of Warren, IN, children, Shawn (Fai) Ritchie of Thailand, Matt Ritchie of Arizona, Amber Shafer of Tennessee, and Amanda Ritchie of Tennessee, siblings, Angie Smith of Indiana, Roddy (Hope) Zeck of New Jersey, and Tina Stonebreaker of Indiana, and 8 grandchildren.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N Matilda St. Warren, IN 46792 on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will begin at 7pm with Chaplain Gerald Moreland officiating. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Lancaster Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
