Wanda J. Brosamer, 77, of Huntington, passed away at 5:06 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Wanda was born on June 9, 1945, in Topmost, KY, the daughter of Troy Mullins and Nebraska (Gibson) Mullins. She graduated from Knott County High School in KY, with the class of 1966. Wanda married the love of her life Harold Brosamer on October 25, 1968 in Huntington, IN. She retired from Majestic of Huntington after 26 years of loyal service.
Wanda was a faithful member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Huntington. She enjoyed crocheting, growing vegetables, and attending to her flower gardens. Wanda was an amazing cook and liked sharing her southern homemade meals with others. When the weather was nice, you would find Wanda sitting on her front porch swing. She was kindhearted and would do anything for anyone. Wanda’s devotion to her family was endless, and she loved spending time with each of them.
Survivors include her loving husband, Harold Brosamer, Jr. of Huntington, IN; two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Brosamer of Huntington, IN, Steven Wayne Brosamer of Huntington, IN; three sisters, Maxine (Ron) Cox of Topmost, KY, Dean Ison of Dayton, OH, Versa Williams of Huntington, IN; two brothers, Mike (Bobbie) Mullins of Dema, KY, Larry (Linda) Mullins of Dema, KY; two grandsons, Brandon Lynn (Shauni) Brosamer of Huntington, IN, Travis Wayne Brosamer of Huntington, IN; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Addilyn, and Carson. She is preceded in death by her father, Troy Mullins, mother, Nebraska Mullins, brothers, Glen Mullins, Charles Mullins, Homer Mullins, Elmer Mullins, Bee Mullins, sisters, Opal Mullins, and Fae Hall.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Brunk Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington, IN.
In lieu of flowers the Brosamer family has requested preferred memorials sent to Bailey-Love Mortuary, to assist with final expenses.
