Jerry Grant Williams, 89 of Warren, IN passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Jerry was born on January 18, 1934, in Warren, Indiana to Glen “Benny” and Maud (Floyd) Williams. He graduated from Salamonie High School in May 1952 and was then drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953. He married Janice Elaine (Pinkerton) Williams on September 10, 1966, in Warren, Indiana. Janice preceded him in death on June 5, 2016. Jerry was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the United Church of Christ for over 50 years. He retired from Heritage Pointe after a long career as maintenance director.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father - Benny, mother – Maud, wife - Janice, daughter - Janet Williams, granddaughter - Alicia Williams, great grandson - Nolan Osborn, brothers - Roger, Gene, and Rick Williams, sister – Shirley Shultz.
Loving survivors include his sons - Larry (Kathy) Williams of Lafayette, IN, James (Michelle) Williams of Warren, IN, Steven (Patricia) Williams of La Plata, MD, Kevin (Melinda) Smith of Warren, IN, Jeffrey (Brooke) Williams of Mooresville, IN, several nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and sisters, Sandra Dollar & Sonja Close.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember at the United Church of Christ located at 202 E 2nd St. Warren, IN 46792 on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 1pm to 3:45pm. Masonic Rites will be performed at 3:45 pm with the funeral service to begin at 4pm with Pastor Troy Drayer officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
