Anna C. Miller, 83, of Poneto, IN, formerly of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 10:47 AM on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home in Poneto, IN. She was born on Saturday, December 30, 1939, in Hartford City, IN. She married Hugh L. Miller in Hartford City, IN; he preceded her in death on May 15, 2013. Anna attended Hartford City Schools. She had worked at Corning Glass, Bluffton, IN, in Home Health Care, and for Safety Light, Bluffton, IN. Anna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her King Shepard pup, Sammy.
She will be sadly missed by her Son - Hugh “LeRoy” Miller, Jr., Cookeville, TN, Daughter - Cindy (Melvin) Echevarria, Bluffton, IN, Son - Paul W. Miller, Poneto, IN, Son - Gregory A. (Barbara) Miller, Portland, IN,
Son - George O. Miller, Geneva, IN, Son - Daniel A. Miller, Arizona, Sister - Betty (Bob) Stefanski, Ossian, IN, Brother - Randy Wine, Hartford City, IN, 17 Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband - Hugh L. Miller, Sr., Daughter - Barbara J. Hupp, Father - Maynard Walker, Mother - Gladys (Regan) Walker-Wine, Sisters - Glenna West, Patty Walker-Wilson,
Debra Fogle, Brothers - Herman Walker, Paul Walker, Raymond Lee Wine, and Ronnie Wine.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, July 28, 2023.
A service to celebrate Anna’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 28, 2023 with Rev. Steve Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
