Sharon Ann Volz, 69, of Montpelier, IN, passed away surrounded by her family at 12:30 AM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at her sisters home in Montpelier, IN. She was born on Tuesday, November 3, 1953, in Hartford City, IN. Sharon was a 1972 graduate of Pennville High School. She had spent most of her life in the Pennville & Montpelier area. Sharon retired after 25 years of service from the Bluffton Regional Hospital. She was a former Cub Scout leader and was a member of the Montpelier Historical Society. Sharon was a fun-loving person who enjoyed crafts, painting, spending time with her family, and loved animals.
She will be sadly missed by her Sons - Michael D. Volz, Montpelier, IN, & Jay D. (Niki Richman) Volz, Montpelier, IN, Grandchildren - Camron Shuler, &Taylor Phillips, Sisters - Janice (Ed) Smith, Montpelier, IN, Kelly Williams, Big Stone Gap, VA, Kimberly Boone, Ocala, FL, and several Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Father - Russell Wayne Pence, Mother - Anna Mae (Dickson) Pence Williams, and Brother - David Wayne Pence.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
