Lawrence Wayne Davis, 80, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 11:25 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1942, in Milton, KY. To Andrew Jackson & Mary Ardellar (Caddell) Davis. Lawrence was a Tool & Die Maker and retired from CTS, Berne, IN after many years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Lawrence was a member of the Geneva VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Loving Survivors include his life Partner of 40+ years- Carol Gish, Geneva, IN, Daughters- Laura Davis, Delaware, Julie Turpening, Delaware, Deann Callaway, Logansport, IN, Step Son - Joseph Gish, Lima, OH, 6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and 8 Siblings,
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 with Joseph Gish officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy.
