Scott William Fleishell, 62, of Huntington, passed away at 3:44 pm Monday, September 4, 2023, at his residence.
Scott was born on June 6, 1961, in Baltimore, MD, the son of William Fleishell and Margret (White) Fleishell. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Navy. Scott had previously worked for Wayne Metal in Markle, IN and FCC (Adams), LLC in Berne, IN. He was able to turn a passion into a dream job and currently was working for CoCoJo's RV Campground in Lagro, IN as a chef. Scott enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league at Rainbow Lanes in Huntington, IN. He loved to share his cooking talents with others and was best known as the Kitchen Guy. Scott was an avid rock in roll music listener, looked forward to social time camping with friends, and some adult beverages. Scott had a carefree spirit that allowed him to live each day to the fullest and never look back.
Survivors include his loving partner for life, Laura Snider of Huntington, IN; two brothers, William “Billy” (Tera) Fleishell of Osprey, FL, Keith W Fleishell of Halethorpe, MD; two bonus children, Sarah (Eric) LaRocque of Huntington, IN, Robert (Kayleen) Snider of Ft. Wayne, IN; five bonus grandchildren, Luke, Alyssa, Dylan, Kali, and Braydon. He is preceded in death by his father, William Fleishell, Jr., mother, Margret Ethel Fleishell, wife, Christina Fleishell.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at CoCoJo’s RV Campground in Lagro, IN. Family is asking any flowers or memorial gifts be sent to Bailey-Love Mortuary 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Scott’s memory to Bailey-Love Mortuary to assist with his unexcepted final arrangements.
