Dottie M. Mann, 95, of Ossian, IN, formerly of Warren, IN, passed away at 3:40 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Ossian Health & Rehab Center. She was born on Monday, May 7, 1928, in Huntington County, IN to Chester Vastine & Orpha Mae (Smith) Holmes. She married William A. "Bill" Mann on Sunday, July 4, 1948, in Jefferson Center Church, Huntington, IN; Bill passed away on October 23, 2008. Dottie was a 1946 graduate of Jefferson Township School. She formerly worked for Kenny Bob Auto as an office worker and retired from the United Methodist Memorial Home (Heritage Pointe) in the activities department. Dottie taught weaving for many years and enjoyed watching Cubs baseball games, shopping and crafts. She was a member of Solid Rock Church of Warren. Above all else, the most important thing in Dottie’s life was her family.

Peer) Leeth, CT, great grandchildren, Miles (Morgan) Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Ashton Johnson, Karl Glick, Paul Glick, Abby Glick, Travis Glick, Jordain Meadows, Tyler (Gillian) Meadows, Payton Meadows, Liam Meadows, Hazel Meadows, Ezra Meadows, Wyatt Leeth, Owen Leeth, Anna Kate Leeth, Graham Leeth, Jackson Brown & Harrison Brown and great-great grandchildren, Everett Johnson, Hudson Johnson, baby boy Johnson due in December and Emmett Meadows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Emma Louise Williams, sister, Evelyn Ruth Gebhart, brother, William Kenneth Holmes, brother, Robert E. Holmes, brother, Don Dwight Holmes, sister, Mary Elizabeth Lee and brother, Maurice L. Holmes.
Family and Friends can gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, located at 203 N. Matilda St. Warren, IN on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. A Graveside service will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at Gardens of Memory, located at 11202 S. Marion Rd. Marion, IN 46952.
