Ross Vernon Snoke

Ross Vernon Snoke, Jr. 93, of Warren, formerly of Plymouth, IN, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Ross was born on September 21, 1930 in Argos, IN, the son of Ross Snoke and Carrie (Eaton) Snoke. He married Loma "Jeane" Kehoe on September 20, 1953 in Plymouth, IN; and they just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He worked as a Forming Machine Operator at Copco Steel & Engineering for 35 years. Ross was a hard worker. An avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and coon hunter. Built many homes around Lawrence Lake and loved to garden. Ross loved his family dearly and took great joy in his grandkids. He was a wonderful story teller. He attended the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Survivors include his loving Wife, Loma "Jeane" Snoke of Warren, IN; Four Daughters, Kathy Aker of Ellijay, GA, Debra McCoy of Talking Rock, GA, Jill Snoke of Sebring, FL, and Becky (John) Fisher of Huntington, IN; Sister, Nadeane Dodson of Bourbon, IN; Eight Grandchildren, Andy (Jamie) Aker, Emily Heilman, Tony Aker, Adam (Audrey) Young, Elliott Young, Evan (Jessica) Young, Suzanne (James) Hlavaty, and Kevin (Felecia) Fisher; Ten Great Grandchildren, Skyler Aker, Lexi Aker, Henry Heilman, Ethan Heilman, Marshall Young, Oliver Young, Ben Radosevich, Ellie Radosevich, Jimmy Hlavaty, and Sam Hlavaty. He is preceded in death by his Father, Ross V. Snoke, Sr., Mother, Carrie Snoke, Sister, Eileen Hammond, Sister, Mary Milner, and Sister, Betty Smith.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Ross will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Heritage Pointe of Warren Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, IN with Pastor Gerald Moreland officiating.

Preferred memorial may be made in memory of Ross to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, 46750.
