Bonnie Lou Seibold

Bonnie Lou Seibold, 89, of Huntington, passed away at 5:15 am Friday, November 10, 2023 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.

Bonnie was born on September 22, 1934 in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Wilbur Beeks and Gretta "Cleo" (Aldridge) Beeks. She graduated from Andrews High School and married Wilbert "Curly" L. Seibold on April 25, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2022. Bonnie was the Secretary of Lincoln School for many years and after retirement she worked in the office of Byron Price C.P.A. Bonnie was an avid horseshoe pitcher and she won the Indiana State Women's Championship 17 times. She qualified for the Women's Championship Class at 22 World tournaments and earned 81 wins. Her best finish in World Tournament competition was in 1980 as she finished runner-up. She placed in the top 5 on five other times. Bonnie was elected Vice President of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association in 1978 and served in that capacity for the next 28 years. She was a member of the State and National Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame and was a member of New Hope United Brethren Church.

Survivors include her Daughter, Bonita (Byron) Price of Andrews, IN; Two Sons, Wilbert Paris (Jean) Seibold of Andrews, IN, Mark Seibold of Clearwater, FL; Five Grandchildren, Adam (Johanna) Price, Erik (Casey) Price, Kelli (Brad) Hainley, Ashley (Mike) Smart, Lee (Amanda) Seibold; Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Stone Price, Cannon Price, Sloan Price, Harrison Price, Parker Hainley, Lyla Hainley, Kolton Smart, Lia Smart, Lara Smart, Kinlee Seibold, Meela Seibold, Holden Seibold, and Corabella Seibold; Sister, Barbara Rose Collins. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Wilbert "Curly" L. Seibold, Father, Wilbur Beeks, Mother, Gretta "Cleo" Beeks, Sister, Mary Margaret, Brother, Jim Beeks, Sister, Norma Jean Bair Brother, Norm Beeks, Brother, Donald Beeks, and Sister, Anna Mae Osborn.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2023 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Amos Rawley officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville.
