Ronnie Lee Miller, 64, of Van Buren, IN, and having family members in Huntington County, IN, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at 8:35 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Miller graduated from Mississinewa High School, Gas City, in 1964. He owned and operated Business Machine Services, Marion, for 30 years before retiring. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967 and was a member of American Legion Post 368 in Van Buren, serving as post commander, fifth district commander and state commander. He also served as past chef-de-train of Voiture 875 40 & 8 in Marion.
He was born Oct. 27, 1945, in Marion to Leveret and Bonnie Mock Miller. He was married to Sabra Miller, and she preceded him in death. He married Charlene Miller on June 18, 1994, in Monon. She survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Shane (Kim) Miller, of Warren, and Trent Miller, of Van Buren; a stepson, Donald (Anita) Lamb, of Gas City; a stepdaughter, Tina (Mike) Ruckman, of Huntington; four brothers, Larry (Mary) Miller, of Marion; Martin (Margaret) Miller, of Texas; Mike Miller, of St. Louis, MO; and Keith (Rochelle) Miller, of Alaska; two sisters, Linda (Roger) Harlen, of Alaska, and Shelly Harlen, of Liberty; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at Ferguson and Glancy Fuenral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren. Rev. Jerry Gallaway will officiate.
