Edna L. Parson, 60, of Wabash, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at 8:03 a.m. at Wabash County Hospital.
Mrs. Parson had been employed by General Tire for 13 years, United Technologies for eight years and CMI for 12 years, all in Wabash. She attended the Wabash Christian Heritage Church.
She was born Dec. 19, 1949, in Hueysville, KY, to Oliver and Lizzie Thornsbury Dials. She married Max D. Parson on Aug. 5, 1995, in Wabash. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Amy (David) Feighner, of Pompano Beach, FL; a son, Jacob Scott Lawson Sr., of Wabash; three stepsons, David Parson, of Peru; James Parson, of Bremen; and David Cavins, of Wabash; two stepdaughters, Vickie Parson and Sherri Parson, both of Wabash; a sister, Lora (Harold) McCleese, of Wabash; two brothers, Kenneth (Beth) Dials, of Logansport, and Billy (Joyce) Dials, of Huntington; five grandchildren, Sherra (Israel) Bourget, of Fairfax, VT; Reyna (Jason) Booth, of Astoria, NY; Alan (Ashley) Feighner, of Huntington; and Jacob Scott Lawson Jr. and Joseph Anthony Lawson, both of Wabash; and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at 1 p.m., with calling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Rev. Tim Prater will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
