Lyle L. Bonewitz, 61, of North Manchester, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at 11:30 p.m.
Mr. Bonewitz graduated from Manchester High School in 1967 and worked at the North Manchester Foundry for 40 years. He was a member of the Congregational Christian Church in North Manchester.
He was born June 5, 1949, in Wabash County to G. Duane and Tomaline Martin Bonewitz.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy (Denny) Williams, of Warsaw, and Becky Flores, of North Manchester; a brother, Elmer (Barb) Bonewitz, of North Manchester; five sisters, Monace Baker, of Van Buren; Tonie (John) Cave and Luetta (Bill) King, both of North Manchester; Drucilla (Ron) Varney, of Huntington; and Jannette Strasser, of Wells, MI; and four grandchildren.
A service was held Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Rev. J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
