Jacob A. Hurlburt has been named to the 2011-12 dean's honor list of the College of Sciences and Humanities at Ball State University.

To earn the honor, a student must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average for work completed during the past academic year.

The dean's honor list students will be honored at a reception on Sept. 22, during Family Weekend at Ball State.

Hurlburt is the son of Leon and Tami Hurlburt, of Huntington.
