Seniors Allyson Trout and Alexis Wygant again led the way as the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team stopped visiting Northfield, 3-1, on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Climbing to 8-8 on the season, the Lady Vikings won a hardfought four-gamer, 26-24, 25-18, 25-27, 27-25.

Trout had team-highs with 26 assists and 11 kills, and she added seven digs and four blocks, while Wygant had a team-high 24 digs to go along with eight kills and four blocks.

Jessie Drew chipped in with 10 kills and tied with Josie Beaver for team-high in blocks with 13.

Allison Bucher added 11 assists to the HNHS cause, and Beaver and Emiley Gray added eight and seven kills, respectively.
