The Huntington North High School boys' varsity cross country team finished 18th out of 26 teams with a score of 488 at the Flashrock Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Cordell Lewis was the top finisher for the Vikings at 16:17.0, good for 31st place among scoring runners.
Charlie Mettler was second for Huntington North at 16:48.5 and 78th overall. Matt Dewitt placed 97th in 17:01.9, Jacob Ambriole was 126th in 17:20.2 and Jacob Miller was 156th in 17:57.5 to round out the scoring for the Vikings.
Also running were Luke Doughty at 166th in 18:06.5 and Zach Prather at 174th in 18:22.5.
Carroll won the invitational with a score of 80 points.
Troy Reeder, of Hamilton Southeastern, was the individual champion at 15:19.8.
