
The Huntington North High School girls' varsity cross country team placed third out of 18 teams with a score of 138 at the New Haven Classic on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Kayla Patrick was the top finisher for the Lady Vikings at 19:48.53, good for 19th place among scoring runners.
Hannah Stoffel was second for Huntington North at 19:55.95 and in 22nd place. Robyn Karst placed 25th in 19:59.96, Stephanie McElhaney was 34th in 20:34.02 and Marissa Jamison was 36th in 20:37.24 to round out the scoring for the Lady Vikings.
Completing the top seven for the Lady Vikes were Marie Ditzler at 46th in 20:54.59 and Karson Rowe at 48th in 21:01.00.
Carroll won the invitational with a score of 28. Bloomington South came in second at 107.
Maddie Woods, of Penn, was the individual champion at 18:48.27.
