Two separate Kroozinationals car shows over two days will be offered Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, at Hier's Park in Huntington.
The Ed "Big Daddy" Roth Memorial Car, Truck and Bike Show, paying tribute to the late custom car artist Ed Roth, is set for Saturday. Roth's widow, Ilene "Trixie" Roth, will be a guest at the show.
Registration is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dash plaques will be awarded to the first 250 vehicles to pay the entry fee. Drive-through judging starts at 10 a.m.
All trucks, cars, rods, customs, bikes, lowriders, street machines, motorcycles, rat rods and special interest vehicles are welcome to participate.
The Huntington Fire Department will host a burnout contest at 2 p.m., with proceeds going to the Hoosier Burn Camp.
A Cruise and Neon Nites parade will cruise through town beginning at 7 p.m., with a special dash plaque awarded to the first 40 participants. A neon contest will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday's events will also feature a pinstripers' reunion, panel jam and charity auction. Vendors, a swap meet, craft and hobby show and diecast and collectibles show will also be held. Other events include a coloring contest, kids' games, drawings and raffles, a piston contest, car games and dance contests. DJ "Fast Eddie" will provide the tunes, and door prizes will be handed out.
The events will continue on Sunday, Oct. 7, for Fast Eddie's Moon Pie Run 2012.
Registration on Sunday is from 8 a.m. to noon, with dash plaques for the first 125 to pay the entry fee. Drive-through judging is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Moon Pie games, a tug-o-war, car and truck limbo and a hydraulics demonstration will all be held on Sunday, with a sound-off competition starting at 10 a.m.
