Perry Collins, of Roanoke, has been reappointed by Gov. Mitch Daniels to the Indiana Veterans Affairs Commission.
Collins retired from the United States Air Force as a colonel.
After leaving the military, he served as director of the Huntington University Excel adult degree program and as vice president of the College of Professional Studies at the Indiana Institute of Technology.
He was first appointed to the Indiana Veterans Affairs Commission in 2008.
His new term runs through June 30, 2013.
The Veterans Affairs Commission advises the state veterans service officer on problems concerning the welfare of veterans.
It also determines the general administrative policies within the state department.
