Doug Wiley (left) and Roger Buckner, volunteer firemen from the Mt. Etna Volunteer Fire Department, address third grade students at Lancaster Elementary School on Wednesday, Oct. 10. The firemen visited the school to inform students about fire safety, as part of Fire Prevention Week, which was Oct. 7 through Oct. 12. The visit included a tour of a fire truck and the Fire Safety Smoke House - a small, mobile version of a home that is equipped to simulate a fire and teach the students how to escape a fire safely.
