Carol Lee Patten, 79, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Roanoke, IN, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
Mrs. Patten had been employed by GE and Sears, worked as a secretary a Portage Junior High School and retired as a manager at KC Mosier Company. She had lived in Springhill, FL, for several years.
She was born in Butler to Paul and Ethel Kissinger. She married Richard "Dick" Patten, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Michael (Linda) Patten and Mark (Deena) Patten, of Fort Wayne, and Brian Patten, of Seminole, FL; a brother-in-law, James (Carol) Patten, of Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Betty (Robert) Baker, of Roanoke; and a granddaughter, Lindsay (Ryan) Weil, of Atlanta, GA.
Calling is Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Dr. Kathleen Haller will officiate. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery, Butler.
