United REMC reminds its customers that the company's website will be unable to process electronic payments until shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 1.
The electronic payment presentation software was taken out of service for several days to implement software updates and conduct end-of-year processing. The rest of the United REMC website remains in service.
United REMC customers can continue to make payments at the drop box at the office's drive-through window, even though the office is closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Those payments will be posted on Jan. 2, when the office reopens.
Any payment made electronically after the software goes back online will be posted immediately.
