The Huntington North High School girls' varsity basketball team will open sectional play on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. against the winner of Jay County and Homestead, at Homestead.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced pairings for the girls' basketball state tournament on Sunday, Jan. 27.

The Lady Vikings landed in the Class 4A Sectional 6 and received a bye.
