Hannah Moore led the Huntington University women's track and field team with a third place finish in the 3,000-meter run on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Taylor University Indoor Invitational.
Moore completed the race in 11:14.09, good for the ninth-fastest time in Forester history.
Lindsey Schroeder's height of 2.83 meters captured eight place in pole vault and was the second-highest vault in program history, while also being a personal record for Schroeder. Ashley Williams also logged a personal best with a toss of 35-04.00 in weight throw, placing her fifth in the Huntington record books.
The 4,000-meter distance medley relay team of Krista Wood, Shana Christian, Erin Rockey and Gretchen Spahr finished second in 12:56.96, just 1.5 seconds from qualifying for the NAIA National Championships.
Top 10 finishes for the Foresters included Kim Elsner's eighth in the 400-meter dash in 1:07.08, Amanda Henningfield's fifth in the 600-meter run in 1:52.33 and Natalie Spahr's fifth in the 3,000-meter run in 11:22.79.
