Every player on the Crestview Middle School girls' seventh grade basketball team scored in the first half of the team's game with visiting Southwood on Monday, Feb. 18, and the Cougars won big, 39-4.
Crestview, 13-4, was paced by Megan Gilpin's six points, Peyton Harvey's five and four apiece from Karmen Koch, Rileigh Johnson, Emily Johnson, Megan Thomas and Haley Burnau.
The team was also active on the boards, with Burnau's six rebounds leading the team, followed by five from Harvey and Emily Johnson.
The eighth grade team lost by a slim margin, 29-27.
Kylie Kaylor led the Cougars, 9-8, with nine points. Aubrie Eckert supplied seven points to the team's offensive effort, and Mackenzi Cannici and Ariene Butler added four apiece.
