The Foresters scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second and three more in the third to get their lead. Brock Gower and Drew Adams each had run-scoring singles in the frame and Austin Drummond completed the scoring with a squeeze bunt to score Gower.

Lanphier and Ayers each had RBI as the Forester pulled to within one at 4-3 in the fifth, but HU could get no closer.
Ayers and Drummond each had two hits.
Xyan Adkisson was charged with the loss for HU, allowing four runs on five hits in 5.1 innings of work.
