Richard Lamoine Culver, 80, of rural Wabash, IN, and having ties to Markle, IN, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at 6:30 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Culver was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He as a self-employed contractor until retirement. He was a member of Bachelor Creek Church of Christ.
He was born March 6, 1933, in Wabash to Leo and Mary Garrett Culver. He married Alma Jean Bonner on Nov. 25, 1952, at the Markle United Methodist Church. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Jeffrey (Deb) Culver and Michael (Cheri) Culver, both of Wabash; two daughters, Diana (Richard) Jacobs, of Wabash, and Brenda Willoughby, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Mary Helen Neupert, of Wabash; 11 grandchildren, Katina (Roderick) Schram, Bethany (Isaac) Winer, Nathan (Lindsay) Culver and Andrew Culver, all of Wabash; Jennifer (Brian) Finney, of LaFontaine; Jeremy (Carlie) Culver, of Seattle, WA; Jason (Chrissy) Culver, of Winona Lake; Sarah (Nick) Roberts, of Pflugerville, TX; Joshua Bickhart, of Peach Tree City, GA; and Brandon Culver and Jordan Culver, both of Muncie; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, March 11, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. A service will be held at the Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, 2147 N. Ind.-15, Wabash, on Tuesday, March 12, at 2 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Solomon David will officiate.
