Ruth Ann Campbell, 76, of Tipton, IA, and a native of Bippus, IN, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton, IA.
Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Bippus High School. She was employed at Betty & Vi's Family Foods until retiring in 1996.
She was born July 24, 1936, in Bippus to Woodrow Wilson and Mary Urshel Sell. She married Paul Dean Campbell on May 26, 1956, in Bippus. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Jody (Rusty) Schroeder, of Mechanicsville, IA; four sons, David (Jill) Campbell, of Fort Wayne; Steve Campbell, of Des Moines, IA; Tim Campbell, of Cedar Rapids, IA; and Gary (Cathie) Campbell, of Wellman, IA; a sister, Margaret (Roger) Detamore, of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Robert (Sharon) Sell, of Bippus, and Donald (Dona) Sell, of Huntertown; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, 220 E. 6th St., Tipton, IA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Church, Bippus, with Rev. Larry Holderbaum officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Lancaster.
