The Huntington County Extension Homemakers Achievement Day and Cultural Arts Exhibit is April 23 at Evangelical United Methodist Church.
Cultural Arts can be entered starting at 3 p.m., with registration at 3:30 p.m. and the program starting at 4 p.m.
IEHA State President Cricket Brown will be in attendance to install new officers and entertainment will be provided by Joe Thomas.
Dinner will be served at 5:15 p.m. and there is a cost per person.
At the end of the evening, the Participation Award will be presented and the winner of the Cultural Arts will be announced.
This year, the group is supporting "Cooking with Love." They are in need of small containers with lids, meal-size containers with lids, all kinds of spices (oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, fennel, no-salt seasoning, cloves, savory, bay leaves, mustard seed, sage, paprika, etc.)
Items for Cooking with Love should be brought at the time of registration.
