Braydin Stell blasted two home runs and had seven RBI to lead the Huntington North High School varsity baseball team past host Warsaw, 12-6, on Monday, April 8.
Stell's big display, which also included a third hit, helped make a winner of Conner West for the second time this season. West went the first three innings and yielded just one earned run on one hit, while striking out seven and walking two.
West had two hits and a pair of RBI in addition to his mound work, and freshman Kory Goodrich added a double and three RBI to the Vikings' cause.
HNHS, 4-1, scored three runs in both the first and second innings to stake West to a 6-0 lead, and the Vikings pushed five more runs across in the fourth.
