Dorma M. Haiflich, 88, of Bluffton, IN, and having ties to Zanesville, IN, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at KNR-Meadowvale in Bluffton.
Mrs. Haiflich was a 1943 graduate of East Union Center High School and a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Group. She had worked at General Electric and CTS, in Berne, for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was also a cook at Liberty Center School and sold Avon products. For a number of years she also helped her husband with farming and served as a homemaker.
She was born on April 10, 1925, in Wells County to Rex and Zoa Folk Hoopingarner. She married Richard E. Haiflich in Zanesville on March 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2011.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Stevan (Lynette) Haiflich, of Chicago; a daughter, Karen Reinhard, of Bluffton; three grandsons, Shawn (Marci) Reinhard, of Milford; Phil (Heidi) Haiflich and Andy (Lauren) Haiflich, both of Fort Wayne; and nine great-grandchildren.
Calling is Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Goodwin Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220E-Ind. 124, Bluffton. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Devin Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Mossburg Cemetary in rural Wells County.
