Sharon K. Turner, 69, of Gas City, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Mrs. Turner had been employed by Barb and Bill Rock's restaurant in Gas City, Runyon's Grocery in Gas City, Palmer's Meat Market in Marion, Knox Glass and Owens-Illinois, the Moose Lodge and as a bus driver for the Marion Community Schools. She was a member of the Gas City Moose Lodge, American Legion and Amvets.
She was born July 13, 1943, the daughter of Norma Dean Richardson Eccles and John King. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen E. Felver.
Survivors include five daughters, Lavonna Circle, Dawnita Artis, Alecia Thein and
Rhonda Haynes, all of Marion; and Michelle (Ralph) Bosworth, of Sand Springs, OK; three sons, Mark Felver, of Fort Wayne; Donald Thein, of Jonesboro; and Kevin Thein, of Marion; five brothers, Robert (Helen) Eccles, of Marion; Raymond (Kim) Eccles, of Van Buren; Melvin (Tammy) Eccles, of Huntington; Mike (Jennifer) Eccles, of Auburn; and Ronnie (Nita) Eccles; three sisters, Margaret Chance, of Huntington; Elesta "Lisa" Bishir, of Fairmount; and Marsha (Rex) pearson, of Gas City; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A service was held on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Gas City Chapel, Gas City, with Chaplain Tom Vallard officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
