Wyatt Nave got the only on-court win, but three forfeits by visiting Columbia City gave the Huntington North High School boys' varsity tennis team a 4-l victory on Thursday, Aug. 29.
The visitors forfeited at third singles and both doubles to help HNHS improve to 2-5 on the season.
Nave, a senior, downed Blake Fearnow 6-1, 6-3.
Tommy Bolinger at first singles lost to Niko Rongos in three sets, 1-6, 7-6, 4-6.
Matt York won his junior varsity singles match against Reed Dillion, 6-1, and the doubles team of Cameron Stuttle and Tristan Thieken beat Matt Kennedy and McKade Kennedy, 6-3.
