Karen D. Jones, 55, of Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at 8:22 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Jones graduated from Huntington North High School in 1976 and earned an associate's degree in commercial art from the University of Saint Francis. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Huntington.
She was born Sept. 11, 1958, in Huntington to Roger and Doris Wells Thompson. Her parents survive in Huntington.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Laura (Peter) West, of West Lafayette, and Rachel Jones, of Warren; a brother, Gary (Mary) Thompson, of Huntington; and three sisters, Venus (Dennis) Hay, of Colonial Heights, VA; Deborah (Frank) Barth, of Lagro; and Pamela (Dana) Pegg, of Marion.
Calling is Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1190W-500N, Huntington, with Bishop Tim Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, in Huntington County.
