The Huntington University men's cross country ended its season with a sixth place finish at the Crossroads League Championships hosted by Grace College on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Tyler Herber earned his second all-conference honor in as many years. The sophomore topped Huntington by finishing seventh in 26:38 on the 8K course.
Running within four seconds of each other were Eric Baker, 31st in 28:07, and Brian Menzie, 33rd in 28:11. Stephen Kays clocked in at 29:05 to place 45th. Austin Presnell came in next in 29:12 to claim 47th.
Other Forester runners included Josh Graham, 51st in 29:25, and Michael Bowman, 60th in 30:10.
Indiana Wesleyan earned the league title and an automatic bid to nationals with 47 points, followed by Taylor, 53; Goshen, 71; Spring Arbor, 75; Bethel, 160; Huntington, 163; Marian, 197; Grace, 230; Mount Vernon, 241, and Saint Francis, 273.
