Daniel Lawrence Scarbrough, 66, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Scarbrough was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired in 2009 from Vectren Corporation, where he had been employed for 38 years. He was a member of the Corvette Club.
He was the son of Frank and Madeline Scarbrough. His mother survives in Huntington. He is also survived by his wife of 23 years, Kerry Scarbrough.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Kim (Lawrence) Shrock, of Huntington; a brother, James (Alice) Scarbrough, of New Haven; five sisters, Sue (Doug) Lewis, of Columbia City; Theresa (Wayne) Smith, of Huntington; Marcia Levine, of Palm Springs, CA; Laura (Brian) Barber, of Austin, TX; and Mary Beth (Scott) Gerber, of Fort Wayne; three granddaughters, Keisha (Zack) McMullen, Tajsha Shrock and Caitlyn Shrock; and a great-granddaughter.
Calling is Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
