Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters, in Huntington, will take part in the inaugural National Catholic Sisters Week March 8-14, joining with others to celebrate the more than 50,000 women religious in the United States.
This first week to recognize Catholic sisters in America is being held in conjunction with Women's History Month during March.
Founded in 1922 by Rev. John Joseph Sigstein, Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters is a religious community of women dedicated to serving those living in poverty and oppression in the name of Christ. OLVM Sisters serve in mission centers across the United States.
