Carl E. Fulton, 86, of Huntington County, IN, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 7:59 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Fulton graduated from Lancaster High School in 1945 and attended Manchester College. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed by the Kmart Distribution Center, in Fort Wayne, for 37 years as a foreman. He also worked with his family at Dan's Fish Fry. He was a member of the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren.
He was born Oct. 30, 1927, in Huntington County to George C. and Mildred Updike Fulton. He married Alberta M. Lahr on March 20, 1948, in Huntington County, and his wife survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Mark A. (Sheila) Fulton, of Beaufort, SC, and Paul E. (Beth) Fulton, Daniel W. (Rev. LuAnn) Fulton and John C. (Karen) Fulton, all of Huntington; a stepbrother, John Souers, of Huntington; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Calling is Monday, May 12, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. LuAnn Fulton will officiate. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
