Raab wins Supreme Showmanship title

The Huntington County 4-H Fair Supreme Showmanship Contest took place on Wednesday, July 28, in the Parkview Huntington Hospital Show Arena at the fairgrounds.

This event featured the champion showmen in the starter calf, beef, swine, sheep, goat, dairy and horse and pony projects to determine the supreme showmanship champion.

The supreme showmanship competitors were as follows:
• Madison Wajer, horse and pony.
• Dylan Miller, sheep.
• Ceaten Brubaker, swine.
• Aidan Raab, beef.
• Trevor Reinholt, dairy.
• Lainey Thompson, starter calf.
• Matthew McMillan, goat.

Each entrant showed one of each species to determine the 4-H’er with the top showmanship skills. Competitors also took a written test covering their knowledge of all species.

The winner of the contest was 10-year 4-H member Aidan Raab.
