Churches around Huntington County will hold special services on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, and on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25.
Many of the services are listed below:
• St. Peter's First Community Church, 206 Etna Ave., will hold a Christmas Eve worship service at 8 p.m.
On Christmas Day, a worship service will be held at 9:30 a.m.
St. Peter's First will also hold a New Year's Day worship service at 9:30 a.m.
• Christ the King Episcopal Church, Huntington, will begin its celebration with Christmas Eve carols on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 8:15 p.m. The music will be followed by Holy Eucharist at 9 p.m.
Another Holy Eucharist service will be held on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, at 9 a.m.
• SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will hold its regularly scheduled Mass on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 8 a.m. The regular 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday will be celebrated as a Christmas Eve children's Mass.
SS. Peter and Paul will hold its "midnight" Mass at 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. The choir will begin singing Christmas music at 9:30 p.m.
Only two Masses will be celebrated on Christmas Day, Dec. 25 - at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

• Bethel United Methodist Church will greet Christmas Eve with "Carols and Candlelight" at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.
The Christmas Day service, on Dec. 25, begins at 9 am.
The church is located at Riverside Drive and Allen Street in Huntington, and the pastor is Rev. Richard Bunnell.
• The Well will celebrate Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA, 1600W-500N, Huntington. The community is invited to attend.

• Evangelical United Methodist Church, 1000 Flaxmill Rd., Huntington, will hold two "Candlelight and Carols" services on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24. Services are at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
A Christmas Day service at EUM will be held at 9:30 a.m.
• College Park Church, 1945 College Ave., will hold candlelight services on Christmas Eve (Saturday, Dec. 24) at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
A Christmas Day service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m.
Child care is provided at all services.
• Faith Community Church of God will hold its annual "Candles, Carols and Communion" service on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m.
On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, the service will begin at 10 am. No Sunday school will be held that morning.

• The Salvation Army, 1424 E. Market St., will hold a Christmas service on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m.
• Clear Creek Community Church will hold a Christmas Eve service on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m.
A Christmas Day service is set for Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m.
The church is located at 750 N. Clear Creek Rd., and the pastor is Lionel Brubaker.
• Solid Rock United Methodist Church, Warren, will present a Christmas cantata tonight, Thursday, Dec. 22, at 6:45 p.m. at Heritage Pointe.
Solid Rock will hold two services, at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at the church located at 227 N. Main St. in Warren.
The Christmas Cantata will be presented at the church on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m.
• The Andrews United Methodist Church will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24. The public is invited.
The church is located at 39 W. McKeever St., Andrews.
• Turnpointe Community Church of the Brethren will hold its Christmas worship service on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 10 a.m.
There will be no service on Sunday, Dec. 25.
The church is located at 500 W. Logan St., Markle.
• Seminary United Methodist Church, Roanoke, will hold a Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 11 a.m., and a Christmas Day service on Dec. 25 at 11 a.m. Both services will have a mix of traditional and contemporary elements.
The church is located at 285 N. Seminary St., Roanoke.
• The Zanesville Community Church of God will hold a Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.
A Christmas Day celebration will be held on Dec. 25 at 10 a.m.
• The Zanesville United Brethren Church will hold a Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m., with fellowship following at 8 p.m.
Children of the church will present "How It All Began" on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 10:30 a.m.
• The Zanesville United Methodist Church has several events planned for Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, including open communion from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., a family service at 7 p.m. and a candlelight service at 11 p.m.
Services on Christmas Day and New Year's Day will be held at 10 a.m., with no Sunday school and no fellowship time.
