Center to host holiday craft sessions for kids

Preschool-age children and their accompanying adults are invited to the Salamonie Interpretive Center on Dec. 12 to attend one of two holiday craft parties that day.

The identical craft parties will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Salamonie Interpretive Center in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area.

Children can make crafts that could be given as gifts to family members and pine cone bird feeders for the feathered friends at the Interpretive Center, all while celebrating the holidays with party snacks.

Adults are invited to bring snacks to share, if they would like.

There is a program fee per child and advance registration is appreciated. Register by calling the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.

For more information on other UWIS programs, see dnr.IN.gov/uwis or Face book.com/UpperWabash, or call 468-2127.
