HN choirs to hold celebration concert

The choirs of Huntington North High School will hold their celebration concert on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Huntington North High School Auditorium.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

The entire cast of choirs including Viking Chorale, Viking Ladies, Glee Club, Concert Choir and Varsity Chamber Singers will be presenting the 28th annual "Christmas Celebration" musical.

The program will feature many of your favorite Christmas songs including, "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year," "The Christmas Song," "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Carol of the Bells," "Do You Hear What I Hear," "Silent Night," "O Holy Night," and the traditional G.F. Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus."

There is a cost for tickets, with a discount for students. Children 6 years and under are free.

All proceeds will be used to support our accompanist, pay ISSMA contest fees and other departmental costs.
The choirs are directed by John Wenning and accompanied by Ann Bostel.
