5th annual German Christmas at school

The fifth annual German Christmas will be celebrated at the old German School on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by the Sharp Creek Singers. There will be a reading of the Christmas story in German as well as the singing of "Stille Nacht."
German cookies and hot cider will be served.
There is no cost for admission and the event is open to the public.
The school is located at 3995N-1000W or three miles north of U.S. 24 on the Wabash-Huntington County Line Road.
It was established in 1887 by members of the German Evangelical Church to provide area children with instruction of the Bible in the German language.
