Lions Club Christmas tree sales in full swing
Thursday, December 5, 2013 7:43 AM
The Huntington Lions Club Christmas Tree Sales project is in full-swing, at the Scout Cabin, located on West Park Drive in Huntington.
Scotch Pine and Fraser Fir trees are for sale Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m.
Sales will continue through Dec. 19.
The Huntington Lions Club has been selling Christmas trees as a major fund-raising project for over 40 years. The funding from this project helps the local Lions Club fund scholarships and school and community projects within the local area. Local businesses are involved in the support and advertisement of the annual project.
