Pearson, Killigrew are Huntington's newest royals

Huntington's newest royals are Lauryne Elizabeth Pearson and Raegan Killigrew, who won their crowns during the Little Miss/Junior Miss Heritage Days Pageant on Wednesday, June 15.

Pearson, the daughter of David and Dawne Pearson, won the Little Miss Heritage Days title. She is 8 years old and will attend Northwest Elementary School this fall.

Killigrew, the daughter of Ashley Killigrew, won the Junior Miss Heritage Days title. She is a 10-year-old student at Flint Springs Elementary School.

The Little Miss court includes Alyssa Gilpin, first runner-up; Julia Redner, second runner-up; Emily Molitor, third runner-up; Miranda Lippe, fourth runner-up; and Katie Redding, fifth runner-up.

Members of the Junior Miss court are Corynn Barton, first runner-up; Leann Ringenberg, second runner-up; Chloe Elizabeth Clark, third runner-up; Ecatarina Meekin, fourth runner-up; and Dominika Wojciechowska, fifth runner-up.

The pageant was held at the Merillat Centre for the Arts on the Huntington University campus, with Amy Pasko serving as mistress of ceremonies. The evening featured a performance by this year's 58 contestants as well as performances by 2010 Little Miss Arianna Betterly and 2010 Junior Miss Ana Redner. The contestants participated in interview and modeling competitions.
