Announce Heritage Days downtown street closings

Several streets in the downtown Huntington area will be closed beginning Monday, June 17, to allow Heritage Days events to take place. Various closings will continue through Sunday, June 23.

Throughout that time, a temporary three-way stop sign will be placed at the intersection of Market and Byron streets.

Here's a day-by-day rundown of the street closings:

Monday, June 17
All closings on this day begin at 3 p.m.

Warren Street is closed from Court Street to West Park Drive.

Franklin Street is closed from Smith Used Furniture to New Life Fellowship Community Food Pantry.

Market and Washington streets are closed from Guilford Street to Jefferson Street.

Tuesday and Wednesday,
June 18 and 19

Warren Street is closed all day from Court Street to West Park Drive.

Franklin Street is closed all day from Smith Used Furniture to the New Life Fellowship Community Food Pantry.

Market and Washington streets are closed after 3 p.m. from Guilford Street to Jefferson Street.

Thursday, June 20
Warren Street is closed all day from Court Street to West Park Drive.

Franklin Street is closed all day from Smith Used Furniture to the New Life Fellowship Community Food Pantry. After 5 p.m., the closing will extend to Jefferson Street.

Market and Washington streets are closed after 3 p.m. from Guilford Street to Jefferson Street.

Friday, June 21
Warren Street is closed all day from Court Street to West Park Drive.

Jefferson Street is closed after 10 a.m. from West Park Drive to Court Street.

Franklin Street is closed all day from Smith Used Furniture to Jefferson Street.

Market and Washington streets are closed after noon from Guilford Street to Jefferson Street.

Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23
Warren Street is closed all day from Court Street to West Park Drive.

Jefferson Street is closed all day from West Park Drive to Court Street.

Franklin Street is closed all day from Smith Used Furniture to Jefferson Street.
