Christian Life Tabernacle wins best theme float at Heritage Days Parade

Christian Life Tabernacle was awarded best theme float at the Heritage Days Parade on Saturday, June 22.

Judges decided Christian Life's float best depicted the theme of "Steamin' into Huntington" and awarded it the plaque sponsored by Matthew F. Capozza.

West Park Skate Center was named best youth group, with the award sponsored by The Huntington County TAB.

The Huntington County Council on Aging 40th anniversary was voted best adult group, with the award sponsored by Bowers Jewelers.

The Huntington North High School Dance Team earned best performing unit honors. The award was sponsored by The Country Post Inn.

The Mizpah Racing Shriners took best motorized unit, with the award sponsored by C&C Auto Body.

Ageless Iron of Roanoke won best antique vehicle. The award was sponsored by Zay Leasing & Rentals.

Best religious unit honor went to Central Christian Church CCC Express. EdwardJones - Chuck Harris sponsored the award.

The LaFontaine Saddle Club won best horse unit, with the award being sponsored by Myers Funeral Home.

The Marching Vikes of Huntington North were named best marching band. The award was sponsored by the Moose Lodge.

Eagles Lodge 823 Flag Team captured best marching color guard, with the award being sponsored by Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar.
