LITTLE MISS/JUNIOR MISS HERITAGE DAYS PAGEANT - Crestview Middle School. Girls ages 5 to 12 are judged on poise, modeling and personality.

48th ANNUAL CHIEF OF THE FLINT SPRINGS TRIBE BREAKFAST - Historic Forks of the Wabash, Chief Richardville Room, 3010 W. Park Dr. Reservations required.

5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
ROTARY STRAWBERRY FEED - Heritage Hall, Huntington County Fairgrounds. All you can eat strawberries, shortcake and ice cream. Tickets available at local banks and from Rotarians.

SALVATION ARMY DONUT SALE – Jefferson Street near the car show. Selling drinks and donuts, a specialty of the Salvation Army since World War I.

USO DANCE PARTY - LaFontaine Center Ballroom, 208 W. State St. Come in your best 1940’s attire, enjoy live Big Band entertainment from the Erie Jazz Band, a salute to WWII veterans, a costume and dance contest, refreshments and dancing.

HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL (weather permitting) – Pilots will determine launch site at 6 a.m. at the Rodeway Inn. Meet in parking lot and follow to launch site. Hare & Hound competition. Free to the public.

ANNUAL BISCUIT, SAUSAGE AND GRAVY BREAKFAST - Moose Lodge, 390 Frontage Rd. Sausage gravy with biscuits and potatoes. Open to the public.

HERITAGE DAYS 5K RUN - Following part of the parade route, turning and progressing back up Byron Street ending at Kriegbaum Field.

54th ANNUAL HERITAGE DAYS PARADE - Begins at the corner of North Jefferson and MacGahan streets, travels down Jefferson, Park and Warren, then back to Jefferson where it will finish at the corner of South Jefferson and Etna Avenue. Judges’stand will be at Rotary Centennial Park.

HERITAGE DAYS STRENGTH CHALLENGE - Old Annex parking lot on Jefferson Street. Feats of strength performed by local lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight athletes.

THE SHEETS WILDLIFE MUSEUM & LEARNING CENTER – 200 Safari Trail. Reduced admission. Learn how the museum promotes animal conservation and wildlife education.

HUNTINGTON COUNTY DISASTER TEAM CAR AND TRUCK SHOW – West side of Huntington North High School, 450 MacGahan St. Registration 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Dash plaques for first 100 registered. Awards presented at 8:00 p.m.

VAUDEVILLE AT THE FORKS - Historic Forks of the Wabash, 3010 W. Park Dr. Fun community variety show that will showcase performers age 5 to 99!

HUNTINGTON HERITAGE DAYS BED RACE – Huntington North High School, 450 MacGahan St. All teams need to be present and registered by 6:30 p.m.

HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL (weather permitting) – Huntington North High School, 450 MacGahan St. Hare & Hound Competition at 7:30 p.m. Balloon Glow at 9:30 p.m. Bring the kids and cameras for a spectacular show of giant glowing aerostats.

SUNDAY, JUNE 18

OPEN PLEASURE SHOW - Chief LaFontaine Saddle Club, 792N - 200W, Huntington. Horses from surrounding area will participate in the show. Admission is free.

WARBIRDS DISPLAY - Huntington Municipal Airport, 1365 N. Warren Rd. Civil Air Patrol feed from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Young Eagles Rally from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All events open to the public.

12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
IZAAK WALTON LEAGUE BEAR HUNT - 470 Hauenstein Rd. Children can hunt the grounds for stuffed bears. Lunch included.

HARTA BICYCLE POKER RIDE – Starts at Schenkel Station, 11 W. State St. A family-friendly slow paced six to seven mile ride on completed sections of trail and lightly traveled city streets with stops at city parks to pick-up cards.

JeFFFest - Jefferson Street, downtown Huntington. Hear fabulous music, eat fun food and bid on fine art. Eric Clancy will entertain.
