
Elley Leas, Delaney Huff and Sara Alford were crowned Salamonie Summer Festival Princess, Junior Miss and Queen, respectively, during a pageant held Sunday, June 28, at the Warren Church of Christ.
Leas is the daughter of Mick and Shonna Leas. She was also named Most Photogenic.
Her sponsor was Hagerman Construction.
First runner-up was Hailey Rose Alford, daughter of Sarah Scheiber and Richard Alford.
Alford's sponsor was Salamonie Mills.
Sierra Tolen was the second runner-up. She is the daughter of John and Brenda Tolen and was sponsored by Ackley Automotive.
Also competing in the Princess category were Madison Shareé Hart, Lacey Nightenhelser, Brynn Lhamon and Jaylin Loftis.
Huff is the daughter of Keith and Dianna Huff and was also named Most Photogenic. She was sponsored by Neff Design.
First runner-up was Hayley Haynes, daughter of Joe and Melinda Haynes. She was spon-sored by Warpup Farms.
Alexis Miller, daughter of Brian and Julie Buzzard and Jeff Miller, was the second runner-up.
She was sponsored by Shuttleworth Insurance.
Also competing in the Junior Miss category were Alivia Eppler, Lina Willard, Amanda Tolen, Leann Ringenberg, Johanna Cummins, Madison Canady, Darianna Bryant, Mary Sieberns and Jordyn Loftis.
Alford is the daughter of Russell and Jackie Alford. She was sponsored by Jackie Alford, CPA.
She also won Most Photogenic.
Second runner-up was Sarah Spaulding, daughter of Greg and Cheryl Spaulding. She was sponsored by Benjamin Herman, chiropractor.
First runner-up was Shelby Bradford. She is the daughter of Bill and Marilyn Bradford and was sponsored by Helena Chemical Company, in Markle.
Nola Cummins, daughter of Dennis and Amy Cummins, was named Miss Congeniality. She was sponsored by Ackley Automotive.
Also competing in the Queen category were Taylor Wilburn, Jessica Stucky, Chelsea Clifton, Victoria Bryant, Kourtney Brubaker and Angelica Bowers.
Contestants were judged in interview, hobby and formal wear as well as an interview question.
Each contestant in the Princess and Junior Miss categories received a participation trophy. All winners and top placers received savings bonds.
