Salamonie Summer worship planned on Sunday, July 3

The Warren Salamonie Summer Festival Worship Service will take place on July 3 at the Warren Riverside Park Pavilion at 10:45 a.m.

There will be a combined community communion service. The churches participating are dismissing their regular services that morning so they can participate in this “Unity of Community” worship service.

Gerald Moreland, one of the three chaplains at Heritage Pointe, will bring the morning message and the service will conclude with a concert of praise and music by The Snyder Band.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to ensure there is enough seating.

The sponsor of the event is the Warren Area Ministerial Association (WAMA) with the theme “Unity of Community” featuring a celebration of the way the Lord is working in the community and area of Warren, IN.

There will be reporting by the WAMA of their Community Benevolence & Combined Church Activities, Warren “Bread of Life” food pantry, Warren Historic Committee on their Park Project and town upgrades, Community VBS (July 11-14), and Heritage Pointe Cemetery Revitalization Project.

WAMA will have an updated brochure of information about the ten area churches the co-operate and participate in reaching out to this community and area for Christ.

In the case of rain, the event will move to Hillcrest Church of The Nazarene at 402 E. 1st St., Warren.
